Han Solo Gun Belt Parts
thingiverse
I made a DL-44 Blaster conversion (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:882673) earlier and felt it only fitting that I also create the whole gun belt as well. These files are for the hardware bits needed to assemble the gun belt and the droid caller, however additional components such as snaps, rivets, leather, and some knowledge of leather crafting will still be required. The provided parts do not claim to be 100% screen accurate, especially the droid caller which may have room for improvement but it is quite close. Instructions Print all parts in their provided orientation. You will need to print three belt-closed-attachments and two belt-holster attachments. I recommend using a 3 shells and 35% infill setting when printing the buckles and connectors for extra strength, however for greeblie bits, your personal judgement may be best used. To prevent it from wobbling, you can also print the gas cylinder inverted with a raft. To assemble the gun belt, attach the belt-closed-attachments to the buckles using a 2.5mm x 45mm nail or screw. Attach one of the front buckle connection points to the belt-open-attachment so it is easy to put on and take off. The positions of the buckles should also be switched if you are trying to get the look from either A New Hope, The Return of the Jedi or The Empire Strikes Back however I do not know why.
