Han Solo DL-44 ESB kit

Decided to build a replica DL-44 blaster using a cheap airsoft Mauser C96 from eBay. While there is a good kit available for the ANH version, I'm focusing on replicating the ESB version's flash hider, m-19 scope, bracket and greeblies from scratch. This project is still in progress, waiting on the blaster and some more filament to arrive before I can begin. All parts were modeled from drawings and images found online. For parts with limited dimensions, I used ImageJ to take measurements and do my best to recreate them accurately. I'm sure by the time this project is finished, some pieces will have changed and new ones will be added. 12/25: Completed the blaster and worked on creating a plate cover for the non-scope side of the gun to make it more accurate to the originals. I wasn't happy with my drawing in 123d design, so I made this by hand from a few layer thick piece of ABS rectangle. The Motor-Coil greeblies were printed with Shapeways since my Flashforge wasn't getting all the details. It only cost $5, making it worth the investment. I oversized the piston half greeblies just a bit (105% or there about) while not accurate to movie, it looked better to me. I also printed a thicker bracket and used a washer behind the scope bracket for a better aesthetic. #d printed some 1/4 20 bolts which I cut down to fit in the scope bracket. Had to drill a few holes in the scope to get them to fit. Kept the airsoft intact with its firing capabilities. All screws and such are just epoxied in place (many of the screws are cut just below the screw head).
