This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1503525, and I'm glad I chose it as my starting point - it's a great build that sparked my creativity, so I only made a few tweaks. 1.) Scope Modifications: To give it an extra edge, I hollowed out the scope to let light shine through and added crosshairs for precision. Additionally, I modified the two long pieces to snap together seamlessly instead of having a flat junction. 2.) Muzzle Modification: The original muzzle didn't match the barrel's diameter, so I added a filling piece to make them fit perfectly together. 3.) Scope Clamp Modification: To ensure a smooth finish, I had to file down the scope clamps to fit around the scope snugly. As a result, I modified the inner diameter to allow the pieces to assemble without any post-build modifications. 4.) Simplifying Build Files: I broke up some of the complex build files that contained multiple parts into single ones. This helps my printer produce better prints when they're centered on the print bed. For the final coat, I applied a chrome base coat followed by a light black top coat, allowing it to get thin in places for a weathered metal look - and I'm thrilled with how it turned out!
