Required:</p> </li> <li><p>3x M4 hex-head screws with thin head (3mm), overall length 20mm;</p> </li> <li>3x M4 hex-head bolts, thin head (2-3mm)</li> <li><p>Gel Super-Glue UPDATES:<br/> 2018-06-29 - Fixed Scope Windage Knob</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Prusa</p> <p><p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>Prusa Mk2</p></div><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p><p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>0.10</p></div><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>20%</p> <h3> <br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong> </p><div><p>Use supports for Part 32 (hammer mechanism).</p></div> Post-Printing</h3> <p><strong>Mounting the Screws</strong></p> <p><div><p>Insert the screws heads in the printed thumbscrews, make sure they are all the way in (use a vice if required) and glue them with a few drops of super-glue.</p> If you need to use a vice, you must first screw a bolt, because you will most likely damage the threads, and unscrewing a bolt that is already on the screw will be the best way to fix it.</div></p> <p>Middle thumbnut consists of 3 parts, while the two side thumbnuts consist of 2 parts.</p> <p><strong>Fitting the Bolts</strong></p> <p>You can print the modified crossbar that has a place for fitting a bolt, but you can also modify your existing part by expanding the middle hole with a 6.8-7 mm drill bit<em>but not all the way</em> - just 3 mm in depth. Then use a vice to force a bolt in.</p> <p>For the other two bolts you can just put them on the inside of the gun and wind them on the screws.</p> <p>DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!</p> <p><strong>Refactored Scope Windage Knob &amp; Mount</strong></p> <p>New scope knob and mount are refactored to match the original. Two screw heads are added on the top, together with 8 hairlines. The mount is redesigned from the scratch, according to the many available photos of the original scope.</p> <p>Before painting, it is advisable to sand the parts. Painted using golden Revel Model Paint 321 94 and weathered using black acrylic paint.</p> <p><strong>Sight Leaf Clip</strong></p> <p>The clip prevents sight leaf from falling out, while allowing it to rotate with a reasonable amount of force.</p> <p>The clip should tightly fit its place. If it's too tight, use some sand paper to sand it down. If it's too loose, you can either slightly increase its size before the print, or you can spray some paint to gain thickness. However, before mounting the leaf, first try if it fits without the sight leaf, because once mounted, it will be hard to remove.</p> <p>To finalize the assembly, first mount the sight leaf, then slide the clip in.
