I've built this wheel for my kids' hamsters. It operates incredibly well and produces absolutely no noise at all. It utilizes standard skateboard bearings (i.e., https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Bf9oC6Vu) to minimize friction and noise. Everything can be printed with "concentric" support. Assembling everything is very straightforward. It fits a bit loose, but you can use a few drops of hot glue to secure it in place.
