A ceramic hamster model was scanned using a DAVID laser scanner that combines focusable line laser and Logitech webcam pro. The large mesh obtained from the scan was processed in Meshlab, after which I added a flat base to it in Blender. The smaller figure had sharp overhangs on its paws which were adjusted in the larger model. However, the curled paws appeared more adorable and hence was chosen for posting. Moreover, the eyes in the large figure were made more visible. Both samples were printed using Ultimachine white PLA and Repsnapper software but require further settings adjustment. Finally, you can print it, exclaim how cute it is, play with it or gift it - all while having fun!
