Hampton Bay Solar LED Path Light Anchors
thingiverse
These lights come with a stake-type anchor designed for secure installation in dirt or sand. Alternative anchors may be used to mount the lights more securely, offering flexibility and convenience. One type of anchor is suitable for placement in mortar, while another can be surface-mounted onto a #8 screw using a simple mounting process. Files are available that enable the creation of 1, 4, or 9 of these anchors at a time, making it easy to produce as needed. The fins that fit into the bottom of the lamp are tightly secured, but sanding at the tips may be necessary for optimal performance. When embedding anchors, plates with slots are used to facilitate the process. To simplify the process, one can cut a hole in cardboard and use the plate as support, placing the anchor through the plate upside down before pouring mortar over it. This method helps keep the fins clean and ensures precise placement. Print settings for optimal results: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No rafts are necessary. Supports: Supports are not required, as the design allows for self-supporting structures. Resolution: Begin with a .3mm layer resolution and switch to .2mm layers for optimal detail. Infill: Use 50% triangular infill patterns to achieve maximum strength and stability. Notes: For enhanced screw thread performance, use 3-4 outer surfaces.
