When you lift the handle straight up, only cold water is dispensed, while the function restricts opening the handle fully to the right. Hot water is released when you turn the lever to the left, at which point it is consumed. This is a long-lasting mixer faucet designed for years of use, as the hard, ceramic discs resist the friction that occurs when changing the water temperature. An integrated aerator in the tap ensures optimal water flow while minimizing water and energy usage. A strainer is also included with the faucet. A water and energy saving aerator (5.7 liters per minute) for high-pressure systems is provided. Connection hoses with a 3/8" connection are also included, featuring a length of 35 cm. A tool is supplied to simplify the installation process for the mixer tap. The faucet has undergone rigorous testing and certification to meet relevant European mechanical, quality, safety, and hygienic standards, including KIWA. The wash-basin mixer faucet can be used in high-pressure systems, tested to withstand a maximum pressure of 10 bar (1000 kPa). A recommended working pressure range is 1.0 - 5.0 bar (100 kPa - 500 kPa). The maximum temperature for the hot water system is 80°C/176°F.
