My first attempt at utilizing OpenSCAD for 3D design projects was a resounding success, accomplished in just an afternoon of tweaking the code and getting it fully operational. A few enhancements to the code are still pending, but overall, my experience was incredibly rewarding. The script itself is remarkably straightforward; simply modify the parameter variables at the top of the script to obtain the enclosure dimensions you desire. Included in this package: 1 - Sample .STL files for both the enclosure and lid (in a 1590A enclosure form factor). 2 - The Simplify3D .factory file that displays my slicer settings. I hope this proves useful, as it has been invaluable to me.
