This thing is a custom lid for the Hammond electronics project case, model number 1455N1602. After receiving a modified case with plastic pushpins instead of screws, I simplified its design to accommodate this new feature. The dimensions and hole patterns were carefully measured and adjusted according to the specifications provided by Hammond Electronics. To reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity, the plate thickness was reduced to 2.5mm. Check out the accompanying images for a closer look.
