Hammerstone (type V) Location: Hardaway site (31St4), Stanly County, North Carolina. Period: Estimated between 8500 and 5000 BC, likely within the Late Paleoindian to Middle Archaic era. Material: Crafted from a rich greenstone. Dimensions: Measuring 59.2 mm in length, 55.8 mm in width, and 44.5 mm in thickness.
