The 3D model of Sphyrna mokarran, also known as the Hammerhead shark, is compatible with Cinema 4D versions 16 and up. This accurate representation includes a fully-rigged, animated, and textured design that's ready for rendering. It features an intuitive and clean rig with visual selector and parametric animation capabilities. The model employs a powerful Character object using custom components and has a separate 'SHADOW' hierarchy of deformation joints to allow animation baking from control rig to joint transforms, enabling exportation to real-time applications or game engines. Interaction is streamlined with the visual selector on the Character object, while dynamics on fins and spine components add realism and fun to animating. A unique feature is the parametric swimming motion built into the spine component, allowing users to control and animate frequency, amplitude, wave length, and blending for each of the spine controls. The model can swim along any specified path using CMotion. As a bonus, this model comes with a Character template file (kinetic_fishRig.c4d) that allows users to adjust proportions for different types of fish while retaining procedural animation and visual selector features.
