Tie a 3mm cord tightly in the tail end, securing it with a knot. Next, tie another loop on the other end of the cord, taking care that it sits comfortably over the hammers. I recently came across a similar clasp design online for sale at $40 made from bronze, but I'm confident I can create something comparable and even better. These metal clasps are manufactured by first printing them in solid bronze, followed by a post-processing step where filets and smoothing are heavily applied to give them a polished finish.
