Hammer spring replacement (remix for DeSteiner's Winchester 1887)
thingiverse
This remix appeared because the original spring weakened and stopped closing firmly the hammer. I printed the original part from PLA because the plastic matched the color. But PLA springs badly and as a result the toy broke. The spring does not need to be screwed, glued or fixed any the way (it turned out so well). It needs to be installed after the entire assembly of the winchester. During the "shooting" it remains in place by itself. And it is easy to replace the spring later, if necessary. The height of the spring is intentionally made less than the thickness of the hammer, so that the spring does not cling anywhere. And of course you need to print the remixed hammer, without embedded spring. The spring source is [here](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/00fcd6916afbf5412fd4319f/w/40c7de9e3046b491574e89b9/e/4fffb4b1002d449b47923532).
