To Make a Huge Hamburger at Home Making a giant hamburger at home is quite achievable, and with the right tools, you can create a massive patty that's sure to impress your family and friends. To begin, gather the necessary ingredients for your burger, including high-quality ground beef or alternative options like turkey or black beans. Next, preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. While the grill is heating up, prepare your meat mixture by combining the ground beef with some finely chopped onions, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overmix the ingredients. Once the grill is hot, shape the meat mixture into a large patty that's approximately 13 cm in diameter. Place the patty onto the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. While the burger is cooking, toast some buns on the grill by placing them on the grates for a minute or two on each side.
