HAM-STD HS1-708 Airfoil Micro Drone Propeller (36.39g thrust @3V)
thingiverse
The micro drone propeller has been crafted using **HAM-STD HS1-708** airfoil coordinates. Testing was conducted using the **Micro Drone Propeller Thrust Testing Jig** (all results below). Part printed at slow speed, utilizing a **0.2mm extruder nozzle** at 0.04mm layer height. The print was cleaned with an **X-ACTO Knife**. Next, I finished the propeller with a **500 grit sandpaper**. Here are the thrust readings for some voltage presets (also visible in the pictures taken): - **1.5V** yields **9.42 grams** - **2V** results in **14.35 grams** - **2.5V** produces **26.28 grams** - **3V** generates **36.39 grams** The files included contain all relevant pictures, along with 6 txt files that contain airfoil coordinates, printable STL files, and SLDPRT files. To use this propeller, grab a bunch of **8520 coreless motors**. Use the SLDPRT files to make your own changes to the propeller if desired. The airfoil was plotted with the matplotlib library in python.
