HAM-STD HS1-606 Airfoil Micro Drone Propeller (41.73g thrust @ 3V)
thingiverse
I successfully designed the micro-drone propeller using the HAM-STD HS1-606 airfoil. All tests were conducted utilizing the Drone Propeller Thrust Tester (results below). The part was printed at a slow speed, employing a 0.2 extruder nozzle at 0.04 height per layer. I then cleaned the print with a Precision Knife. Next, I utilized a 500 grit sandpaper for further refinement. Here are the readings for various voltage values, also depicted in images taken during the test: - 1.5V yields 12.67 grams - 2V produces 19.23 grams - 2.5V generates 30.93 grams - 3V results in 41.73 grams The downloadable files contain all photographs taken during the test, along with six text files featuring airfoil coordinates used in construction, printable STL files, and SLDPRT files. To utilize this propeller, acquire a set of 8520 coreless motors. Use the SLDPRT files to make personal modifications to the drone propeller. Airfoil plotted using matplotlib library in python.
