NOTICE: This is a remarkably efficient airfoil. You may need to tweak the SLDPRT file to extrude the hub a bit further if you're trying to print this model. I designed this micro drone propeller using the HAM-STD HS1-430 airfoil. Testing was conducted using the Micro Drone Propeller Thrust Testing Jig (results below). Part printed at slow speed, utilizing a 0.2 nozzle at 0.04 layer height. The print was cleaned and deburred with an X-ACTO Knife. After this, it was sanded with a piece of 500 grit sandpaper. These are the measurements for some voltage presets (you can also view these in the images taken during the test): - 1.5V => 4.12 grams - 2V => 9.71 grams - 2.5V => 13.19 grams - 3V => 23.01 grams The files I included contain all pictures relevant to the test, along with 6 txt files that contain airfoil coordinates, the STL files and finally the SLDPRT files. If you want to tinker with the propeller, you should get a couple of 8520 coreless motors. You can use the SLDPRT extension files if you wish to make your own changes to the propeller. The airfoil plotted by using the matplotlib library in python.
