This is a remix from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1725339 The goal is to create a lightweight, portable vertical antenna with three or four bands. Dimensions, simulations, and measurements will be shared soon. Work on the project is ongoing. A holder has been designed in Openscad and secured using cable ties. CHANGE LOG 12.1.2017 - Simulations for 40, 20, and 30 meter versions with a base loading coil were added. 13.1.2017 - A radial end insulator was included in STL and OpenSCAD files. 23.1.2017 - Reductions for BNC connectors and covers when not in use were implemented. 26.1.2017 - A knob for M6 nuts was designed. 07.2.2017 - Coil inductance measurements were taken. 10.2.2017 - The coil holder was improved to better fit cable ties. 12.2.2017 - Bottom fixing points for a 6-meter fiber-glass pole were added, suitable for Decathon travel poles or cheap 6-meter Agepoch poles from Aliexpress. 26.2.2017 - Field testing of the 40/30/20 meter version with a VNA was conducted using a vertical element length of 4.1 meters and 5.25-meter radials. The antenna performed as expected, being very narrow on 40 meters. Plots from the VNA test are available. 24.4.2017 - A wiring diagram was added. Print Settings Printer: Prusa MK2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: Only the coil and holder need support; other parts can be printed without it.
