Halot Sky Acrylic Cover
thingiverse
This is not a 3d printable model, but a Fusion360 exact copy of the acrylic cover for the Creality Halot Sky printer. The "body" is for Thingiverse to accept the post. My canopy came broken and I've decided to reverse engineer it in case the Seller would not be able to provide a replacement. The model consists of bodies, not components, but still it can be used to cut all the separate parts of sheet acrylic and then bend with a simple wire heater. The parts can be glued together with DHE glue (leaves almost invisible seams). Use orange or red acrylic blocking UV light - a bigger piece 3mm thick and a smaller one 4mm thick for reinforcements (see the model). This is a work in progress, because I haven't figured out yet how to flatten the bent pieces in the "sheet metal" workspace. The main part has a seam under the back reinforcement plate (not cut within the model to keep the tolerances until I learn how to do it correctly). Will update with the flat layout soon.
