Halonix Maximus

My son dared me to create a model of Halonix Maximus, a hologram that appeared in the Transformers cartoon at the end of its first season. We drew inspiration from bobusmalus' model on Thingiverse, and remixed his design for the head. Our goal is to build a large model, approximately 12 inches tall, with as much articulation as possible. The model holds together using #4 metal screws, most of which are half an inch long, but some require three-quarters of an inch. We used nails clipped to fit and melted them into place using a soldering iron for the elbow and leg joints. The Autobot symbol is simply glued on. We would like a more attractive head design and were unable to create articulated hands. We tried scaling up a different model, but it didn't work out. We remixed another model for the hands, but only managed to complete one side, flipping it to use as the other hand. The weapon is a remix of another model on Thingiverse. We would love to collaborate with someone who can help us improve the head and hands design.
