The Type-25 Carbine is a fully-automatic, magazine-fed rail-type gun that fires metal projectiles which are pulled between rails to be superheated and elongated into sharp spikes. Two large blades made of tungsten carbide, a very strong and durable material, are mounted under the barrel of this weapon, making it more effective in close combat situations. The Spiker's ammunition is loaded through a small drum magazine that holds 40 rounds of ammo. This drum magazine is located on the underside of the gun, behind the blades and in front of the trigger.The Type-25 Carbine, also known as the Spike Rifle or simply the Spiker, is a Jiralhanae firearm widely used during the Human-Covenant war.
