This model is a simple receiver box designed to allow easy insertion of a Halo UNSC A.I. Chip into the back of a Halo Master Chief helmet. The dimensions of this model are based on the measurements of the following objects: Chip: Halo 4 Cortana Light-Up Keychain Helmet: Disguise-branded Halo 5 'Master Chief' costume helmet, adult size To insert the receiver box, carve out a rectangular hole in the back of the helmet and slide it into place. Secure the box with glue, then add a Halo A.I. chip that can be easily inserted or removed for added realism to your Halo SPARTAN cosplay. The box features two hollows where 2 x 10mm x 2mm neodymium magnets can be glued in place. By carving out corresponding hollows in the chip using a rotary tool or Dremel, you can add matching magnets and create a magnetic lock that secures the chip in place once inserted into the helmet. The length of the box inside the Disguise helmet does not obstruct the internal space, avoiding contact with the back of the head or bulging out the padding. Two pilot holes allow for decorative screws to be added once finished, or they can be left as is.
