<p>Halo-inspired wall-mounted first aid kit!</p> <p>Has room for a roll of medical tape, adhesive bandages, eye drops, tweezers, gauze pads, alcohol pads and more!</p> <p>Require two (2) 8x3mm magnets to form the closure. Cavities are modeled, magnets just need to be glued in place.</p> <p>Here is a link to the magnets that I used, but plenty of brands will work: <a href="https://amzn.to/3ko5TVS">https://amzn.to/3ko5TVS</a> (This is an affiliate link)</p> <p>Mounting holes are modeled - use two (2) #8 screws.</p> <p>For more information on the design, printing, finishing and assembly, check out the full project video: <a href="https://youtu.be/sk1ihwaLMvs">https://youtu.be/sk1ihwaLMvs</a></p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Printed in white Sunlu PLA at 20% infill, using the "0.15mm QUALITY" preset in PrusaSlicer and auto-generated supports everywhere.</p> <p>The little ridge that goes on the end of the tape hook is included as a separate STL to avoid extra support material. I glued it in place with superglue.</p> <p>I printed the top and bottom pieces in their final orientation to get the best surface finish possible, but this uses a lot of difficult-to-remove support material for the top piece. I would recommend modelling your own supports, playing with the settings in your slicer or trying a different printing orientation.</p> <p>I gave the mating surfaces a light sanding with 220 grit to ensure a nice fit.</p> <p>I've included the "hinge pin" STL, but I found it was too small to be printed in PLA with sufficient strength.
