Halo Face Shield
prusaprinters

Inspired by the 3DVerkstan face shield, but with added stability due to the F1 halo inspired nose bridge. Can still be worn over glasses comfortably.

Prints in 1 piece with no supports within 1hr on my prusa mk3. Prints best in PETG, it can be printed in PLA, but the fit might be a bit tight as it would be more rigid.

Face shield is standard A4 size. Use the PDF face shield template (link in the comments) and a hole puncher to punch the mounting holes, pegs are spaced 20mm apart. Use a sharp scissors to cut the corners.

You can use the Prusa Face Shield bottom reinforcement for more curvature support:
https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25857-prusa-face-shield

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Print instructions

Prints best in PETG. No need for supports.

For a 0.4mm nozzle print with 5 walls/perimeters to get it 100% solid.

Face shield mounting holes are 20mm apart, use a hole puncher and the attached PDF template to make the holes.
