Halo EOD Helmet Mk3
thingiverse
Hey Jordi, my ability to improve on my models over the past year as I learn more and more techniques is getting better day by day. After you asked what was the best file to work with in my previous version, I couldn't help but have another go at attempting to make this file better again. I've enlarged it to accommodate a head 17.5 cms wide, which is supposedly the average male head width. Good luck and if you do take the project on, post some pics of your progress, cheers Jace. Hey Jordy thanks for taking the time to cut the files into quarters, I've added them here also. For me, I print in ABS, which at times is difficult with warping. I get great results with an enclosure and having the pieces low to the heat bed. I have split it here also in mind with the idea of eliminating as much of the need for support as possible, not all but a good chunk anyway; cheers Jace. P.S. Anyone wanting to print Jordy's split option will need to mirror the same files to complete the opposite side.
