Halo Energy Sword - Full Scale
thingiverse
This full-scale model of the Halo Energy Sword uses the circuitry from the original file, but this version is scaled up and also has stronger connection points with the handle. This is meant to be printed on a LARGE printer, 350x350 or larger. Notes: Blade files are to be printed twice, and one flipped to fit other side of the handle. The flats where the LEDs get glued to are slightly less that 10mm, so they will need to be angled slightly to allow for the blade to fit properly. During my build, I had them hot glued into place and then plastic welded the outside of the blade. Nuts and bolts are required to create secure connection points. the Bill of Material is listed below. The wiring has channels it needs to fit into when the handle is completely collapsed. The handles also have a widened channel right before the edge of the handles where the blades meet to account for any quick-disconnect clips in the wiring. Quick-disconnect clips could help for when needing to disassemble and transport energy sword. Again, these files are meant for printers with a printable area 350x350 or larger. These are the items needed outside the printable files: 4x M6x20mm button head bolt 4x M6 nut 4x M3x8mm button head bolt 4x M3 nut Plus any other electronic items listed from the original file
