v1.1 - last updated on 29th April 2014 This is a revised version of Serin117's "MA5C ICWS - Assault rifle - Halo 3" model, available at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:169170. The original has been split into printable parts with pins for easy assembly. Each female pin is slightly wider and deeper than the corresponding male pin to ensure a perfect fit. The OpenSCAD library and files used in this project can be accessed at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:310652. Enjoy printing! To enhance your experience, v1.1 update includes: - Increased female pin margins for a better fit; if you've already printed one of the parts with pin holes, minor sanding should suffice. - A standalone female pin has been uploaded; it is recommended to print the stock along with the pin first. If it fits, proceed with other pieces; otherwise, adjust radiusMargin in PinCutDemo2 (default is 0.5). Some important points to remember: - Ensure uniform scaling for all pieces if you decide to scale any of them. - If using supports during printing, clean female pin holes post-printing (depends on orientation), or sand off male pins. - Despite the pin connectivity, it is advisable to use DAP or glue to reinforce joints, as pins may bend under pressure.
