This is a Demo version meant to portray the details and scale of the helmet. The full version can be found here aguilarworkshop.com/product-page/halo-2-anniversary-smg You can read more about this model and see more pictures here aguilarworkshop.com/post/halo-2-anniversary-smg Major Features Detailed Modular Design This model is comprised of over 40 unique pieces, including interchangeable foresights and barrels. All structural components of the SMG slide/screw together to make for an easily interchangeable and customizable build. There is no need to worry about sanding away any ugly seams as the model is sliced in such a way to match the natural edges of the model itself. This makes sanding and painting the model much easier and does away with any worry of the finished product snapping across some hidden glue line. The full SMG is around 35 inches (89 cm) in length. This size was taken from the official cosplay guide for The Rookie and his SMG. Additionally the length listed in the Halo Wiki makes for a very small SMG that feels more like a toy. I personally printed the SMG at 70% scale as I am shorter but still wanted a large, fuller feeling prop. Adjustable Foregrip The foregrip utilizes a simple, friction based design, matched with built-in geometry to allow the foregrip to rest at its natural deployed angle, as well as a compact, in-line position. Adjustable Stock The stock utilizes a simple, one-spring lever button mixed with a saw-toothed rail system to make for a stock that can be set to a number of secure positions all with the simple press of a button. Checkout the assembly video to get a more intuitive feel for how the design works. Removable Magnetic Magazine w/ TV remote style magnet fastener Everyone loves a magnetic magazine. What they don't love are those magnets pulling away from their glue and flying all over the place. This magazine allows you to place your magnets inside of a clip that fits inside of the main magazine body the same way you place a battery cover on a TV remote. This allows the magnets to sit freely within the case with no chance of actually escaping. There is a mirrored clip that sits inside the body of the SMG that allows the magnets to secure the magazine to the body. There are multiple clip options to account for different sized magnets. One additional note, is that because the clip utilizes some internal bending mechanics, it needs to be printed in a side-touching-the-build-plate orientation. This ensures that the layers run the length of the bending portion and makes the piece bend rather than snap. Interchangeable Barrels This model contains two options for the barrel, both of which securely screw into the main body. The first barrel is the classic H2A knurled barrel and the second barrel is the ODST Suppressed version, featuring flashlight attachment. The flashlight is a separate component to allow for small personal flashlights to be put into the attachment. If you require any help printing modifiers for your flashlight, feel free to message me. Additionally the flashlight attachments as well as the SMG body features small openings for Wires to allow for that wired connection from body to flashlight that is featured in Halo 3: ODSTs version of the model. Interchangeable Sights This model comes with two sight options, the classic H2A iron sights and the ODST red dot sight. The iron sights, fit into the main body of the SMG while the red dot sights fit on top of the iron sights get into its secure position.
