Replacement stakes for securing Halloween tombstone decorations in place. Two stakes per tombstone are recommended. To secure styrofoam tombstones, insert the short pointed ends of the stakes directly into the tombstone itself and the long pointed ends firmly into the ground. This setup typically works because the existing holes in these types of tombstones are relatively short and solid. For plastic tombstones, a different approach is necessary. Insert the long pointed ends of the stakes into the hollow plastic tombstone while simultaneously driving the short pointed ends into the ground for added support.
