halloween spider mold

A Simple Mold to Cast Halloween Spiders (and Spider Model for Superlazy People) Try casting it with chocolate - but be warned: I've tried and ended up creating a big, sweet mess. Maybe printing it bigger and covering it with butter will help... or maybe not. Right now, print the form, fill it with silicone, let it cure, then place it on your friends' desks (those with arachnophobia will surely freak out!). It's better to overfill the mold first and correct mistakes with a knife than to do it halfway. Have fun scaring your friends to death... I mean, pranking them! [EDIT] I tested it with silicone and got much better results than with chocolate. And here's the best part: no scaling required - just mix the silicone with catalyst by eye! Remove any excess with a Chinese plastic cutter that comes with every printer set.
