Halloween Horror Movie Lithophane

I'm thrilled to share my Halloween project with you! This has to be the most epic horror movie mashup I've ever seen. Growing up, I was absolutely fascinated by horror movies and thought it would be a great idea to pay homage to them in a unique way. The six panels that make up this masterpiece sit snugly in the base and crown, held firmly in place by glue. To add an extra layer of depth to the image, I painted the backs of the panels black around the artwork, creating striking contrast. To power this beast, I used a "DC 5v 4-phase 5-wire Stepper Motor+Driver Board+Remote Control Wireless" that I found on eBay - what a find! Inside, I utilized a spare threaded rod as the internal drive shaft and a standard 608zz bearing to keep everything running smoothly. For those who want to replicate this project with ease, I recommend using a wooden dowel rod measuring 8mm or 5/16" in diameter and approximately 220mm or 4.3" long for the vertical driveshaft. Simply cut it to size and adjust as needed - the top portion should sit about 1-2mm off the base. If you encounter any issues with the cone on top slipping into the cup, try applying a thin layer of Halloween liquid latex or rubber cement to both parts and let them dry. This will give it a secure grip without gluing them together, allowing for smooth operation and preventing potential damage to the motor or other components. As an added bonus, I've included two new STL files - ShortCenterTube.stl and ShortTop.stl - which enable you to skip the top crown while still having the base rotate. These files are untested, but they should work just fine. Additionally, I've uploaded a smaller version of the main litho, measuring 100x100x65mm, known as Half-Sized_Horror.stl. While I haven't printed it myself, it should be perfect for those who want a more compact version. Lastly, I've added some pictures of the internal workings of this project, giving you a glimpse into its inner mechanics.
