I designed a custom 3D printed glowstick for my toilet paper roll. I modified the original design by moving the holes to the top, allowing me to hang it from a string of lights. I scaled up this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:732437 and added these features: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:514043, which gave me more control over the glowstick's appearance. I then created holes for inserting LED Xmas lights and a slot for securing the wire. My goal was to create a unique lighting effect by placing a string of LED lights inside the holes. I intentionally left some slack in the lights so they could be easily removed and reused. To achieve this, I made a cutout that allows me to insert the wires first, then pull them tight. By taping off the unwanted lights, all you see is the glowing effect. The design was printed in two separate pieces, allowing me to color the sliding lid differently from the box. This adds an extra layer of customization to the glowstick. Enjoy!
