I recently stumbled upon a fantastic mask on Etsy. To get into the Halloween spirit, I decided to recreate it myself for the holiday. All you need to do is glue the parts together and voila! You're ready to go. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or its related cousins guising and souling), attending spooky costume parties, carving pumpkins into eerie jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires that crackle and pop, apple bobbing for a fun time, divination games to test your skills, playing harmless pranks on friends, visiting haunted attractions that send chills down your spine, telling scary stories that make you shiver, as well as watching horror films that will leave you shaken. In many parts of the world, the Christian observance of All Hallows' Eve remains a popular celebration, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of loved ones who have passed away. Elsewhere, it's a more commercial and secular celebration that's all about having fun. Some Christians historically abstained from eating meat on All Hallows' Eve, a tradition reflected in the enjoyment of certain vegetarian foods on this special day, including apples, potato pancakes, and soul cakes.
