Halloween Crow w/LED eyes and base
thingiverse
I designed danman's Halloween Crow at 98% scale to fit my PRUSA printer, upgraded it with LED eyes and crafted a custom base for it. I used Hatchbox Wood Filled PLA filament for the base and cover, which can be purchased on Amazon at https://smile.amazon.com/HATCHBOX-3D-WOOD-1KG1-75-Filament-Dimensional/dp/B01ND1M7T6. The Pololu addressable LEDs I chose for eyes are available at https://www.pololu.com/product/2535. Controlled by an ATTiny85 powered by a 9V battery, the LED eyes can be programmed using the Arduino code attached to this post, which includes links and URL information for parts programming. FreeCAD native CAD Files and ATTiny85 / Arduino code are included in this attachment for users who want to modify the design or program the LEDs themselves. Note: I used a micro rocker switch, but you'll have to modify the CAD file or STL for a different switch of your choice. Since there are thousands of switches available, I won't be able to accommodate specific requests for a particular switch.
