Halloween Bauble
thingiverse
With the surge in popularity last year of the Halloween Tree, I drew inspiration from this phenomenon to craft my first-ever Halloween Bauble. A straightforward project that relies on the paint job for its success, rather than relying heavily on the 3D printing capabilities. Utilizing Looxis Faceworks (https://looxis-faceworx.en.uptodown.com/windows), I generated a lifelike face from two photos of myself. This digital image was then altered and distorted in Openscad to fit perfectly onto the side of a sphere. A simple bauble connector was designed on top, completing the project. I printed the Bauble with an infill of 5% to keep its weight as minimal as possible, and painted it with acrylics for a vibrant finish.
