Halloween - A collection of things
thingiverse
Halloween has grown in popularity since childhood days in 60s and 70s Great Britain, now rivaling Guy Fawkes Night for kids' fun. Despite being too old for trick-or-treating, Halloween excitement continues with a 3D printer in hand. The pumpkin or Jack-O-Lantern from SSW was printed on a RepRapPro Huxley and customized with Squeezed Orange PLA from Faberdashery for the body and lid, and Village Green colour for the stalk. With two perimeters and 5% infill, the Jack-O-Lantern looks realistic when lit from inside with battery-powered amber flame LED T-Lite. The outer ring is derived from Gear O'Clock by PrintTo3D, providing suspension points for surrounding items like ghosts by daviddotshaw, bats by daviddotshaw, spiders by builttospec, and a SCAD script from nicholasclewis for the spider's web. Two large spiders came from Antona, one full-sized and the other at 60%. Instructions for all parts are posted along with their files in the links provided.
