Hallow Black Dragon Skull

We're excited to share new 3D prints from the community every week, highlighting slicer settings, use cases and of course, thrilling time-lapses! This week, we feature a striking Black Dragon Skull designed by Gunther Beatty. You can find this amazing design on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3894237. We printed this skull using our trusty CR10S Pro 3D printer with Green PLA filament. The print took an impressive 16 hours and 35 minutes to complete, resulting in a massive X:290 Y:290 Z:338mm model. We used a layer thickness of .2mm and a nozzle temperature of 220C. The retraction speed was set at 6.5mm and the infill percentage was a moderate 6%. Our print bed temperature was a comfortable 60C, and we extruded 143g of filament during the process. The print speed was set to a swift 50mm/s, resulting in an impressive model with intricate details.
