HallON Anet A8 ABL Sensor - easier to connect than BLTOUCH

Sensor first has been working for Our Mendel 90 for more than four years without any changes in the first prototype and no problems have occurred. Since that moment it continues to work flawlessly. A few months ago we received our first Anet A8 printer, and we were able to install a proximity sensor but had some issues with it. First, there were installation problems due to extra holders being used. Second, Proximity sensors are not supplied with 5V, which can be hazardous for the Anet board. Third, sometimes glass is placed on the table, and proximity sensors do not work well with glass. This led to the beginning of the "Magnetic Sensor Project." After presenting the v1.0 to our local 3D printing community, we received a lot of comments and the sensor eventually became known as HallON, with its logo now visible on the surface of the v2.0 top cover. We have already provided firmware based on Marlin 1.1.8 that is fully dedicated to this sensor. We are also working on Repetier firmware v1.0 but still encounter stability problems after map generation in Repetier host. Most importantly, we prioritized simple usage, installation and configuration of the sensor. The sensor can be adapted to other printers; we have already developed a working prototype for the A6 Model. Subscribe to our page to stay informed about all new information, files and updates.
