Hall sensor mount for x-axis on P3Steel
thingiverse
This is a mount specifically designed for Hall sensors on the metal sled of the P3Steel printer. Print Settings Rafts: Don't even worry about it Supports: Whatever, doesn't matter Infill: 40% Notes: Post-Printing Don't panic if you don't have mounting holes; drill some out. You'll want to make them exactly 12mm in and 5 mm up (and down) from that square gap. When it comes to electronics, I swear by my trusty a1104eua Hall sensor paired with a reliable 3,9k ohm pull-up resistor. Mounting the resistor at the connector is a breeze - just crimp those female pins together with some wire and voila! Add in that sturdy solder connection for the hall sensor and seal off the 40 cm long wires with shrink wrap. Next, neatly sandwich those three wires into place (you'll know what I mean when you see them in the grooves). Then, it's just a matter of screwing on the motor plate. By intentionally positioning the Hall sensor close to the stepper, we can minimize the distance to the ramps 1,4 board - efficient design at its finest!
