I'm designing a compact enclosure to house a hall effect sensor for my home automation system. The sensor itself measures 31mm in length, 13mm in width, and 14mm in height. A removable lid is included to shield the mains voltage terminals when necessary; however, I encountered some issues with the lid fitting properly onto the main housing. To resolve this problem, I employed a Dremel with a thin cutting disc to carefully clean out the small hooks on the enclosure's interior surface, allowing the lid to slide smoothly into place and click securely in position.
