Half-/Split-Cleat for Rope
prusaprinters
I needed a way to wrap up a lot of rope for a bike lift. The ceiling was so high that I ended up with way more rope than the little included cleat could handle. So I threw together a quick split design. Print two. Separate to the desired width. Screw in (to a stud or something else that's quite solid). Wrap yer rope. Yee haw! Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layer height Infill: 30% Notes: Print with one of the large sides facing down. Will be strongest and require no supports. Note that using this orientation, it will split down the middle if you use a sloped-head wood screw, as the head of the screw will act as a wedge. If you do use a sloped-head screw, be sure to add a washer. I used #8 cabinet screws with standard M4 washers. Category: Organization
