I wanted to print a half-size Collapsing Sith Lightsaber. ### Printing the Handle * Print the handle at 50% scale in x, y, and z dimensions. - I found that using a raft kept it from falling over. * Print the cap at 50% scale in z but 48% scale in x and y dimensions. ### Printing the Blade * I had to refactor the blade from scratch - scaling included files didn't work for me. * Using three ribs.stl files worked - without them, the blade was too tall and thin, shifted during printing, and ended up rough. * If you want to try, I also included all three blade files without ribs and a file with all three blades arranged concentrically. * Note: this is a three-piece blade, unlike the original four-piece design. ### Update 12 JUL 2019 I uploaded a second version of Blade3 and Blade3_ribs. They are identical to the originals except for increased wall thickness from 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm. Some prints experienced blades slipping completely through one another. To correct this, I wrapped tape around the bottom of the blade that slips out, which solved the problem.
