Half Proportional 2x2x4

I figured I'd post something, just because. It's been a while since my last update, and I've actually been working on designing puzzles in the background. The thing is, I haven't felt like sharing anything that hasn't seen physical form yet. This puzzle got its start from playing with the 2x2x3 that recently came out. What struck me was how it essentially became a 3x3 at its core. I wanted to be able to scramble it as such but the outer pieces were holding it back, so I created this one - it's pretty much the same except cut along the center and scrambling like a 2x2. My hope is to print it out someday in the future, but It may require a higher level of 3D printing than SLS. The design itself is fairly straightforward: a 3x3 puzzle with a 2x2 shell on top, plus two square-1 cuts on that. Check out the slice image for details. I know the tolerances work perfectly well, but I'm still unsure about how to print all the pieces; most of them will need supports. Print at your own risk is basically my advice. For that reason, I've included some files labeled "Large" - a slightly larger version of the puzzle (5mm vs 4mm). Print these: 1 x core 8 x inner corner 8 x outer corner 12 x inner edge 6 x inner center
