Half Life Alyx Pulse SMG Grunt version (currently without the magazine)

<p>This is a Pulse SMG I made for my Grunt cosplay, this is not the same version that the player gets.</p><p>I will be adding the magazine box model and remaking the muzzle to have a hole for red LEDs.</p><p>For the big flat plate in the front I used a spare piece of furniture backing, I included a stencil for it, you need to print it in full size</p><p>Edit 04.11.22</p><p>I added better files for the front half of the gun - tank v2, plate with holes v2. They work with the old files that weren't updated. Also added a detailed stencil for the tank black details. I recommend transferring the stencil to masking tape because of the shape of the tank.</p><p>I added a led lit up muzzle red circle(it's the "pulse plug" ammo mag). It still uses the old "muzzle details" file.</p><h3>Tips for the led circle</h3><p>-Don't use more than 2 aaa batteries because they won't fit. use a battery box to get the battery connector thing - the solid part for the + and the spring for the -.</p><p>-Sand the part of the muzzle that comes out until the parts slide one from another smoothly. The paint will add a little thickness so make sure it's a little loose before you paint.</p><p>-Use one pair of magnets (near the holes in the bigger part) rather than two, one pair is enough to hold it in place. Use 5x5mm cylinder magnets.</p><p>-If you have trouble with taking the part out then you can add a pair of magnets in the free holes but with the same poles facing each other so they're pushing themselves apart.</p><p>-Use the holes in the bigger part to put two of your fingers and carefully open the led cover.</p><p>-The red circle isn't that bright so you can use a bit of paper to diffuse the light, you can use red paper so when the leds are turned off it still is red.</p><p>-Use some hotglue to diffuse the light.</p><p>-Use some car lights red foil to make the red circle.</p><h3>Tips for the whole smg</h3><h3>-Use some wire to connect the main part to the "front plate with holes" to make sure they won't break apart.</h3>Category: Costume
