Half-inch video tape reel

This 5" take-up reel is designed for 1/2" video tapes. I was amazed that no one had posted it online yet, so here it is! Finding these reels has become increasingly challenging; I couldn't locate any on eBay, hence the need to create my own. To print, use HalfInchReel.stl for the base half, including the hub, followed by HalfInchReelTop.stl for a complete reel. Glue both halves together, ensuring tape notches align. The scad source is provided for customization. Modify "basediameter" to 50 for a test sample or change dimensions for a 7" reel or 1/4" audio tape. Enjoy!
