This is a custom-built 5-inch take-up reel specifically designed for use with half-inch video tape. I was astonished to discover that none of these reels were available locally, which prompted me to create one myself. These specialized reels are becoming increasingly scarce and can be challenging to source; in fact, my extensive search on online marketplaces like Ebay yielded no suitable results, leaving me with no choice but to fabricate one.
