Half Inch pipe tap handle converter

Half Inch pipe tap handle converter

I required a 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch converter for an on-the-spot tap handle. Unable to find one, I created a pipe connector on the fly using 3D Builder. Printed with four walls and 50% infill to ensure it was robust enough to withstand the use and weight of the black iron pipe that became the makeshift tap handle. No threads on the inside wall of the 3/8" converter were present. I had concerns that the printer wouldn't produce them at such a small scale, but figured the tap would cut its own threads, which it did perfectly. Screws came on and off easily after the initial attachment. Sliced with Cura Four walls 50% infill Brim was used for extra plate adhesion, although it might not have been necessary.
