Halcyon-class Light Cruiser

My rendition of the Halcyon-class Light Cruiser from Halo showcases a simplified appearance and reduced file size, achieved by removing most of the thrusters and turrets. I may choose to texture this model in the future. The UNSC Navy categorizes the Halcyon-class light cruiser as a capital ship classification, best suited for front-line combat duty alongside other cruisers like the Marathon. Reyes-Mclees shipyards designed the Halcyon, a vessel that stands out as an antique compared to modern cruisers. Its reactors struggle to power all systems simultaneously, resulting in slow speeds and limited maneuverability. The armament consists of six Archer pods, three auto-turrets, and a MAC, rendering it relatively underarmed. However, the Halcyon's durability sets it apart from other vessels. Its unique design enables it to withstand significant damage while maintaining mobility. When deployed alongside more heavily armed cruisers, Halcyons excel as "damage tanks," absorbing enemy fire while their partners focus on concentrated attacks.
