Halbach Tool Demagnetizing Tool

This is a plastic puck that you can turn into a tool demagnetizer, for all the metalworking gear in your shop that inexplicably picks up a field and starts attracting all sorts of trash. Demonstration and explanation here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10enFh_OXZg These parts were made parametrically, so it should be pretty easy to adjust the size, shape, tolerances, or number of any of the parts. For now, I'll just upload the things as shown in the video. If you need help customizing this, speak up and I'll point you in the right direction. There's a version for twelve 5/16x1/8" disc magnets and another for sixteen 10mm cube magnets. The latter can easily have the magnets arranged to form a Halbach array, which makes it work really well. The smaller, non-Halbach disc arrangement isn't quite as effective, but still works. For assembly, you'll need a 1/2" bolt with the threads cut off, the magnets, and about 5g of superglue. Some rubber gloves and baking soda (a catalyst for the superglue) wouldn't hurt either. Drill out the pilot hole for the bolt, glue everything in, and sand the top to a smooth finish. I'm also including the fixture for making the linear array, in case you want to test that out. This object was parametrically designed using Python, FreeCAD, and CadQuery, so the code and more documentation are available here: https://github.com/swolebro/caddyshack Here's a perma-link to the code that made these files specifically: https://github.com/swolebro/caddyshack/tree/e6fa2d8a624bbee259c28ad75b2e6aab3828afbd/scripts/shop/magnets. There may have been updates/improvements/reorganizing done since then, however, so I suggest you take a look at the latest revisions too. Pretty much any design on the git project should be on my Thingiverse profile as well. Some (but not all) of my designs also have videos to go with them, which I am assembling into a YouTube playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9xPdBFt5g3QmsrRzn3PynVNeJ7LHVtZS.
